Help & getting started

How BrandReco works, step by step, and answers to the questions founders ask most. Can't find it here? Email contact@brandreco.com.

Getting started

  1. 1

    Create your account

Sign up with your email and a password at brandreco.com/register. We send a confirmation email; you need to confirm the address before you can sign in. No credit card is needed — the Free plan is the default.

  2. 2

Create a workspace and add your brand

After signing in, create a workspace and give it a name (your company or brand name), then enter your brand's website address. That starts the first analysis of your site. A workspace holds one main brand, its competitors, tracked prompts and actions; the Business plan lets you run several.

  3. 3

    Add your competitors

On the Competitors page, add the website address of each competitor you want to be compared against. BrandReco analyzes their public pages too, and compares what they cover with what you cover — page type by page type — so gaps become actions.

  4. 4

    Choose your tracked prompts

On the Prompts page, accept the suggested questions (written from your own site content) or add your own with Add Prompt. A tracked prompt is a real question a buyer would type into an AI agent — "best tool for X", "is Y worth it". These run on a schedule across the agents you've enabled, and each answer is recorded.

  5. 5

    Do your daily actions

Open the Actions page. You'll see a short list of today's actions ranked by impact. Open one to read why it matters, the exact steps, any ready-to-paste content, and — for make/write tasks — a prompt you can hand to an AI agent. Press Start, do it, then mark it done. Most take a few minutes; skip a day and they're still waiting.

Questions & answers

What is BrandReco?

BrandReco is a web app for founders without a marketing background that shows how AI agents currently describe their brand, where those agents can't find or understand it, and how it compares to competitors, and then turns the findings into a few small, plain-language actions a day. It is made by Muplex Technologies Ltd. in Bulgaria and lives at brandreco.com.

Which AI agents does BrandReco check?

BrandReco runs your tracked prompts against ChatGPT (OpenAI), Gemini (Google), Claude (Anthropic), Perplexity and Grok (xAI), and records how each one answers. Your plan sets how many agents you can enable at once; you choose which ones in your workspace settings.

What is a tracked prompt?

A tracked prompt is a real question your buyers would type into an AI agent — for example "best tool for [your category]" or "is [your brand] worth it". BrandReco runs each tracked prompt across the agents you've enabled on a schedule, records the answer, and notes whether you were mentioned, in what position, with what sentiment, which competitors were named, and which sources the answer cited. You can accept the questions BrandReco suggests from your own site or add your own on the Prompts page; your plan sets how many you can track.

Why do you measure my tracked questions weekly instead of every day?

Because the answers don't change daily — your actions change them. AI agents build their picture of a brand slowly, from what is published about it, so asking the same question every morning mostly returns yesterday's answer and spends budget that is better spent on doing something. BrandReco measures each tracked question about once a week, on a rolling schedule, and puts the rest of its effort into what actually moves those answers: a few specific actions a day on your site and in the places AI agents read. Tools that advertise daily monitoring are selling you the chart; we're optimising for the change in the chart.

What is a daily action, and what do the states mean?

A daily action is one small, specific step to help AI agents understand or recommend your brand — for example unblocking AI agents in robots.txt, publishing an llms.txt written from your site, adding a pricing page your competitors have, or claiming a profile on a review site that AI answers keep citing. Each action explains why it matters and gives exact steps, often with the wording or code already drafted. An action moves from To do, to In progress when you press Start, to Verifying when you mark it done and BrandReco can re-check your site, and then to Verified once the change is confirmed live — or Done when it's something we can't check automatically and take your word for. You can also set a due date for yourself, or choose Fix later to move an action to the bottom of the list.

How does BrandReco verify that I fixed something?

Marking an action done is a claim; BrandReco then checks it where it can. For findings based on a single file it re-fetches — your robots.txt or llms.txt — it re-runs the check right away and marks the action Verified if the problem is gone, or Done – not confirmed if the change isn't visible yet. Findings that depend on page HTML (canonical tags, structured data, Open Graph tags) are settled by the next scheduled analysis of your site. A problem that is still there comes back on its own, so the list always reflects reality rather than what was ticked.

What is the "Prompt for AI agents" on an action?

For actions that involve making or writing something — code, a file, page content — BrandReco also gives you a ready-made prompt you can paste into an AI agent such as ChatGPT, Claude or Cursor. It contains the task, why it matters, the steps, and any starting content, grounded in your own site, so a non-technical founder can hand the whole fix to an agent and get back the finished result.

How do competitors work?

You add competitors by website address on the Competitors page. BrandReco analyzes their public pages the same way it analyzes yours and compares coverage page type by page type — pricing, comparison, case studies, testimonials, features, use cases, docs, blog, about. Each high-value page type a competitor has and you don't becomes an action with a small step to close the gap, and your coverage is tracked over time so you can see gaps closing. Competitors also show up in tracked-prompt answers, so you can see which ones the agents name instead of you.

What does the free AI-visibility check look at?

The free check at brandreco.com/free-report needs no account and takes about a minute. It looks at whether AI agents are allowed to read your site at all, whether you publish an llms.txt telling them what you do, whether your homepage identifies your business in a way they can parse, and whether links to your site preview properly — and where competitors outrank you. It is a snapshot; a plan is for the ongoing work of tracked prompts, competitor comparison and daily actions.

What do the plans include, and can I change later?

BrandReco has a Free plan with no credit card, plus paid monthly plans — Pro and Business — that track more competitors, track more prompts and unlock your full daily action plan; the Business plan covers several brands. You can change plans anytime from your billing page, and everything you've set up stays as it is when you switch. Current prices and what each plan includes are listed at brandreco.com/pricing.

How does BrandReco use AI models and my data?

BrandReco sends your tracked prompts to the AI agents you selected (OpenAI, Google, Anthropic and others) — the answer is the measurement — and uses AI models to analyse those answers and the pages of yours it has read; the AI Policy page lists exactly where models are used and what is sent to them. Account data is kept while your account exists and for up to 30 days after you delete it; deleting a brand or prompt deletes its history with it. The Privacy Policy covers this in full, and you can reach us about your data at contact@brandreco.com.

How do I get help?

Email contact@brandreco.com and we'll reply. If your confirmation email didn't arrive, try signing in — the sign-in page offers to resend it.
